Inverse kinematics for Arduino, Raspberry pi and Beaglebone black.

Inverse kinematics allows programmatic control and positioning of the MeArm by using 3d Cartesian (x,y,z) coordinates instead of servo motor angles. Here are some links for some popular micro-controller library's.

Raspberry pi MeArmPi Inverse kinematics library

BeagleBone Black MeArmBBB Inverse kinematics library

The MeCon software motion controller does not currently have an Inverse kinematics mode but it is defiantly on the the to do list. the main benefit for manual control would be to allow horizontal and vertical movement while keeping the gripper at the same height or vertical plane. here is a youtube video that demonstrates this ability while using a hardware controller.
